Community Participation in the Local Charity Sector

KCSC has launched a brand-new programme - Kensington and Chelsea Together programme (K&CT).

Survey - For residents and individuals with a close connection to Kensington and Chelsea

Help KCSC to get an understanding of peoples’ experiences and perceptions of opportunities and barriers they face in accessing roles within the charity and community sector.

KCSC is looking for three Community Consultants to help shape the Kensington and Chelsea Together Programme (K&CT) by joining the steering group providing local advice and insight to the team.

West London CCG is again opening up applications from community, voluntary and faith organisations working in North Kensington, to join the NHS Health Partners Programme in a third round of recruitment.

Facilitation Skills for groups

This session, designed to help you to better-facilitate group activities virtually, will be run by the RBKC Human Resources Department.

This training is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.

Policy and Procedure Review (Covid-19)

Monday 21 September 2020, 10:00am-12:00pm

During the current health crisis, organisations may find themselves scrutinising their policies and procedures and wondering just how fit they are for purpose. Are existing policies up to date? This session will help you to identify what needs to be done and will help you to work out how to do it!

This virtual session is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.

Sexual Health Providers Forum

Wednesday 23 September 2020, 10:00am-12:00pm

Highlights include a presentation on Latin American HIV prevention and support, and on understanding the needs of young people.

This online Forum is for voluntary sector and statutory providers/stakeholders of Sexual Health and Reproductive Health / HIV services in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. It is not open to members of the public.

A 1-hour e-learning course you can complete at any time

Returning to work and continuing our way of life is a growing concern among many people in these difficult times. This COVID-19 secure e-learning course from Highfield will help give people the confidence that they need to feel protected.

Office Space - Catholic Children's Society, St Charles Square

Currently Catholic Children's Society have two first floor offices available to rent. Both units consist of a number of small rooms and are self-contained with toilets and a kitchen area.

Funding

Green Shoots small grants fund

Grants of up to £2,500 are available for one-off events and short-term projects. Activities can take place both in person and online. This funding comes from the Grenfell Community Development Fund and is for projects which bring hope and joy to the North Kensington community.

Kickstart Scheme

The Government’s Kickstart Scheme is a £2 billion fund designed to create hundreds of thousands of high-quality six-month work placements for those aged 16 to 24 who are on Universal Credit and are deemed to be at risk of long-term unemployment.
