Practical workshop for smaller organisations – preparing for tenders
Tuesday 11 October, 11am – 1pm

• This hands-on practical workshop will guide you through the information that is currently needed for pre-qualification questionnaires, and will help organisations be ready to take part in consortium bids for contracts.
• We will also discuss ideas for further workshops.

On Friday 17th June, voluntary and community organisations from across Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham came together for the second year to hold a joint Funding Fair.

The event offered a wide range of information stalls and workshops, giving all who attended a wider view of the range of support services available to the sector in addition to funding advice. In the afternoon organisations used the opportunity to look together at the impact on tri-borough and localism, discussing its's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

A range of providers including the voluntary sector will be allowed to deliver public services under planned reforms outlined in a new government white paper. 

The new government paper entitled 'Open Public Services' is open for consultation until the end of September.  In November the government plans to publish details of how each department will open up its public services to competition.

We are working closely with colleagues at CAVSA Hammersmith & Fulham, who are supporting the development of Desta Health & Social Care Consortium.
