Information sharing between private healthcare services and NHS England

The guidance on information sharing is aimed at patients, service users, healthcare workers and information governance professionals at private hospitals, hospices, clinics, care homes and dental practices which are run independently of the NHS in England.

They may be run by a commercial company, a charity or another non-profit organisation. This guidance may also be helpful to NHS organisations who have private patient units.

The Dementia Friendly Venues Charter is a simple and supported framework that helps cultural spaces become more inclusive for people affected by dementia. It encourages practical changes such as clearer signage, sensory‑friendly tours, relaxed performances, calm spaces and staff training. These small adjustments can make a big difference to comfort, confidence and enjoyment.

Barclays Community Sport Fund

Delivered in partnership with Sported, the Access Grant of £1000 aims to reduce inequalities in sport. It is available to support the delivery of football, tennis or cricket activities for women and girls.

Grants up to £5,000 are available to support capital projects, such as refurbishment costs and furniture. Help the Homeless is a small grant-making organisation with limited funding available to charities across the UK.
