 This session delivered by Engage London will cover: 

• Protected equalities groups
• Prevalence of abuse
• Child abuse definition
• Signs and indicators of possible child abuse 
• Areas that impact on children and young people’s development and survival
• Legislation and procedural guidance
• Overview of Safe Network and the resources – demonstration using live website of standards & self assessment tool and other resources
• Sharing good practice
