The Project (Estate Endz):
This summer, SPID Theatre’s Estate Endz programme of workshops for 16-25 year olds is back with a focus on work fitness.
Participants will be able to choose from a programme of workshops created to help get their career in shape whilst also researching the theme of social housing and its effect on employability. The programme culminates in a piece of ‘Promenade’ Theatre (performance in public), to be devised and performed by participants, which will take place along Kensal road and the surrounding area.
Our mission is to:
- Unpack what employment options exist for young people including setting up their own business.
- To alleviate shame surrounding unemployment,
- To demystify the services that unemployed people can access.
- To share the findings in a dramatised walking tour to an audience.
The project is open to any young person living within RBKC between the ages of 16-25, however we would particularly like to hear from those who are currently not in employment, education or training.
This year you can mix and match what you want to do, creating your ultimate summer experience.
