The courses based on an apprenticeship level will last 18 months. Students will attend college once a week, as well earning a wage for working within an organisation, either electrical or dental, for a minimum of 30 hours a week. This will ensure that knowledge gained in lessons will be put into practice. These are great opportunities for people over the age of 16 who have been in the country for longer than 3 years.
Many students move forward from the apprenticeship to get further experience as either a dental nursing manager or to work for a bigger organisation as a fully qualified electrician.
