North Kensington United Forum

The North Kensington United Forum, formerly the Grenfell Network Group, is a collaboration of residents, councillors and voluntary agencies that emerged from a meeting organised by Kensington and Chelsea Social Council in the weeks following the fire at Grenfell Tower.

It meets to share ideas and issues related to North Kensington's recovery, invites speakers and facilitates the development of local capacity to feed into democratic processes.

In the last year, we facilitated a number of meetings with stakeholders on local governance, hosting meetings with The Centre for Public Scrutiny and RBKC to explore what changes were needed in the borough, what role the voluntary and community sector had in these processes and how we collectively could assist in achieving the changes in local democracy and voice required by our community.

To this end we have submitted two papers on governance, one under KCSC's banner and one in the Grenfell Network Group name.
