An update was provided on the 'Food for Thought' project, followed by a review of the Terms of Reference and brief discussion on scoping ideas for future KCPIN projects.
KCPIN roundtable 24 March 2016
We held a roundtable with KCPIN members, national charities and public health professionals to consult on our current project on food banks. We had a lively and fruitful discussion on our aims, methods and partnership for delivering a local strategy on food poverty.

Following the publication and launch of Renters' Rights, KCPIN reviewed the impact of the campaign, and discussed how to continue lobbying local and national government. Three areas of future work were also consulted on, and it was decided to launch a project addressing hunger poverty in Kensington and Chelsea.

Just a few months ahead of our private renting report launch, we discussed our housing report narrative. We also looked ahead and talked about how we can work together to ensure race equality is back on the agenda.

In this meeting we discussed our elections manifesto and our three priorities for campaigns going forward. On the private rented housing work, we invited suggestions on how best to disseminate the survey and what themes the interviews with participants should cover.

Following the launch of the Poverty and Inequality Network, and the successful consultations with our members on a research theme, we are happy to announce that we having collected our survey findings, it was housing that came out on top as the key priority area for research.
The launch of KCPIN Knowledge Cafe Oct 2014
On 29 Oct 2014, we re-launched Poverty Watch by the name of KCPIN to move the project forward in a new direction. The network was opened up to the Social Council's entire membership. The meeting took the format of a knowledge cafe. At the meeting we presented three possible research areas that required further attention. Following the meeting we followed up with a questionnaire to help inform our views.
