The Social Council is launching a new project in support of voluntary and community organisations in Kensington and Chelsea that deliver health and wellbeing services.
The project will help these organisations achieve the following outcomes:
- Improved knowledge and skills in monitoring and evaluation
- Improved systems in place to monitor and evaluate services
- Improved ability to evidence and articulate the impact of their work

The programme will include:
Three workshops covering the following:
- Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework
Tuesday 8 September, 10am - 12.30pm
This workshop will include an introduction to the topic and the programme as well as practical exercies setting aims, outcomes and indicators.
- Collecting, storing and analysing your monitoring data
Wednesday 30 September, 2.30 - 5pm
This workshop will include the variety of ways to collect monitoring data such as through feedback forms, case studies, focus groups and interviews. It will also provide an overview of what to think about when designing an IT system for collecting and analysing your data.
- Communicating and promoting your impact
Wednesday 7 October, 4 - 6.30pm
This workshop will include effective ways to communicate your impact so that you can really show off the good work that you do. It will include looking at verbal communication as well as communication using publications and online media.
One to one support
This will be tailored to the needs of each organisation. KCSC staff will work with organisations to identify their support needs and take practical steps to improve their monitoring and evaluation. We expect to work with about 12 organisations.
