Introducing the Women's Cycle Literacy Series
FOR WOMEN envision a world in which all women regardless of ethnicity, religion, culture or socio-economic background, are nurtured and empowered to reach their fullest potential in order to participate in and positively influence society. They understand the importance of learning and training opportunities for women as well as creating awareness around mental and physical health. FOR WOMEN want to give women the opportunity to gain the tools necessary to expand their skills and live a life that excites and inspire them and those around them by focusing on three main activities:
- The Happiness Corner - talking groups/one to one/workshops provide a unique approach to building resilience through the use of peer support and positive psychology principles
- The women’s cycle literacy series - workshops to educate women about the cyclical nature of the female body. Observing, learning about and the understanding of menstrual cycle) – workshops – a celebration day for girls
- Exploring the 5 senses - exercise embracing mindful living exploring the five senses
