WLCCG Grants Programme 16-17 short films

KCSC is proud to introduce the Public and patient engagement videos funded by the West London Clinical Commissioning Group (WLCCG) to collect local evidence of the Patient Public Engagement (PPE) they are delivering.

Three of the local voluntary and community organisations, receiving WLCCG funding through the PPE Small Grants programme, were selected to create 3 minutes' video.

The results are now available below:

  • Abundance Arts, “Wow wellbeing inter-generational community arts and wellbeing project”
The initiative is a unique weekly intergenerational well-being community project, responding to the needs of vulnerable local people (15 Caribbean elders from Pepper Pot Centre, who are at risk of being marginalised). Using arts as a tool to engage participants creatively the project is also incorporating an intergenerational programme with Pimento Supplementary school.

  • Dalgarno Trust, ‘VIP Project (Very Important People)’
The project aims to support people experiencing social isolation or at risk of isolation/loneliness, like carers and care-users, people with different disabilities, people with low-level mental health issues, people from the most disadvantaged and hard to reach groups.

  • French African Welfare Association, “African Men Health Initiative”
African Men Health Initiative is a program intended to improve the health of African men registered with GPs in West London CCG.
