What does prorogation mean for charities?

Recently the Queen approved a government proposal to prorogue parliament from mid-September until 14 October, when the new government will have its first Queen’s speech. There has been speculation for months about the government using this device to block parliament from preventing no-deal.
The FSI has written a blog which looks at what prorogation means for charities, and in particular why it means you should be planning for both a no-deal Brexit and an election. You can read the full article here. The FSI is publishing guidance for charities to guide no-deal planning for next month. You can sign up to emails here so that you can receive the guidance early next month.
