While many charities have seen a huge growth in demand over the last year, the challenges of switching to digital delivery and support have become equally as apparent. The Open University (OU) have shared some cost-effective resources for organisations to upskill their teams.

OpenLearn is a free platform from the OU which is filled with free modules such as Take your training online, which has been specifically designed for charities and third sector organisations. There are hundreds of courses available to choose from, including digital skills development and business & management.

With FutureLearn you can also explore a variety of short courses to suit your needs. If you are a small charity you might benefit from the OU Low-Budget Video Production: Visual Communication for Small Charities course, exclusively on the platform.
