History of the Social Council by Dr Tank Green

KCSC is celebrating 60 years of existence.

In 1960 the Notting Hill Social Council was set up to fight for social justice, something that was deemed necessary following the Notting Hill riots in 1958.  At the KCSC AGM held on 12 November 2020, Dr Tank Green, who covered the setting up of the Social Council in her PhD, gave a presentation on its history and provided a snapshot into some of the projects the Notting Hill Social Council was instrumental in launching.
