Face-to-face digital inclusion resident surveys to take place from next week

The K&C Digital Inclusion Partnership includes the Council, local third-sector originations and the NHS. We are working together (and in partnership with Westminster) to better understand the barriers faced by the estimated 12,000 residents who are digitally excluded and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to get online and to do so confidently. It will focus on key groups, including the unemployed, those who are disabled or who care for someone with a disability, those over 60, and low-income households.

The Partnership has successfully bid for regional funding to carry out face-to-face surveys of residents with the help of Lake Market Research. This will take place through June to help the partnership understand the challenges and barriers of residents who are digitally excluded. The survey will take place on weekends and weekdays with the purpose of gathering data and will be conducted in a Covid-secure way.

We plan to share the key findings when they are available.

If you have any questions about the survey or the partnership, please contact Tim Ellis the Council lead by emailing the K&C Digital Inclusion Partnership at digtalinclusion@rbkc.gov.uk.
