The contract for the walk-in service at Earls Court Health & Wellbeing Centre is due to expire on the 31st March 2020 and West London Clinical Commissioning Group (WLCCG) are considering what to do next.
The walk-in centre no longer meets national guidance and only sees around 15 patients a day, which doesn’t make it value for money. WLCCG is currently proposing not to renew the contract at the end of March and will be carrying out an engagement exercise from the 9th September – 4th October to hear from local people before any decisions are made. This will also help find out any actions they need to consider if they do go ahead with the proposal.
For information, please find attached:
- A stakeholder letter outlining future plans
- Information to be shared with patients on the above proposal and to raise awareness of local health services
- Questionnaire & equalities form for users of the walk-in centre to complete
WLCCG have a team of volunteers who will be based at the walk-in centre throughout different times of the day over the next month to better understand why people are attending and ask them to complete the attached questionnaire.
Please share the attached information with your networks and if you’d like to take part in answering the questionnaire, or provide any feedback on the proposal via email please do so via emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or you can post your response to: West London Clinical Commissioning Group, 87-91 Newman Street, London, W1T 3EY
