Community Resilience Group - Update 1 July 2021

KCSC has been a part of the Community Resilience Group (CRG) since its formation at the start of the pandemic in 2020.  The group was set up to support the emergency response for the borough.

Update - from 1 July 2021

Virus update

Rates have started to increase again, after plateauing previously - per 162.7 people in RBKC. · Picture across London is consistent in terms of increasing rates, but over-60s case rate remains relatively low. ·

Public Health has confirmed that the Delta variant is the dominant variant.

Vaccine

There is still a proportion of the over-60s who haven't come forward for their vaccination. The aim is to get as many people as possible vaccinated by 19th July.

RBKC engagement plan is now seeking to hold specific sessions with different parts of the community where uptake is at its lowest.  Information on this to follow
