Civil Society Book Club for Wellbeing and Connection

Civil Society CIC has recently launched a new initiative, the Civil Society Book Club for Wellbeing and Connection

The book club is an informal, low pressure, monthly event to explore the latest thinking on reducing loneliness and improving community wellbeing. Beyond that, each session is also an opportunity for civil society professionals and volunteers to share, learn, and build connections with one another. Civil Society know that it’s a busy time for everyone, so it is not essential to read the book prior to the meeting - it's more of an opportunity to share ideas amongst friends. They are also giving out five free copies of the book on a first, come, first serve basis.

The book club will be facilitated by Kate Shurety, the former Executive Director of The Campaign to End Loneliness.  In each session, there will be a short Q&A between the author and Kate, followed by an opportunity for participants to discuss and share ideas.
