RBKC Youth Services Framework

The Council is seeking to commission a Framework consisting of multiple suitably qualified providers, under which it can Call-off (via mini-competition) a range of high quality universal and targeted youth related service for children and young people aged 11 – 19 (or up to 25 for young people with Special Education Needs or Disabilities) in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is being established to respond flexibly to young people’s priorities and needs, and will deliver a range of programmes and projects that aim to improve young people’s outcomes. This Framework is anticipated to commence on the 1st September 2019 for a period of 4 years.

The deadline to apply to be a provider is 13th June 10 AM. To apply, you must register on the capitalesourcing website and express an interest.

Youth Clubs

Opportunities are now open for providers to bid to run youth clubs in Kensington and Chelsea. To apply for each opportunity, you must register on the capitalesourcing website and express an interest.

The deadline for youth clubs in Notting Dale (with a focus on Lancaster West and the Latimer Road area), Dalgarno and Golborne Wards is 10 AM on 3rd June

The deadline for youth clubs in Notting Dale Ward (with a focus on the area around Avondale Park up to Ladbroke) and Redcliffe Ward and Earl's Court Wards is 10 AM on 5th June

The separate tenders are looking for a provider to run a youth club with a particular focus on engaging young people in the area to improve their outcomes. The youth club premises must be within each ward, and providers will be required to confirm that they will have a suitable building in this area for the delivery of services.

This provision will include several weekly sessions delivered at times when young people are able to attend, such as weekday evenings or weekends, offering a range of activities, support and programmes for young people in line with their four priority areas, these being Future & Ambition; Safety & Security; Community & Environment; and Health and Happy Lives. This provision will also include unstructured, open access provision. Providers will be expected to demonstrate tangible impact as a result of their offer.

Activities must be accessible to all young people including vulnerable young people and young people from minority groups. These groups may include young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) children in care, care leavers, young parents, young carers, young people from traveler communities, young people from the LGBTQI+ community or young people from BAME communities.

Youth Hub Provision

Opportunities are now open for providers to bid to deliver youth provision from the Lancaster Road Youth Centre (The North Hub) and Chelsea Youth Club (South Youth Hub). You can find the opportunities for both hubs on the capitalesourcing website.

The deadline to submit bids for these 2 opportunities is 10 AM 7th June 2019
