Grants of up to £2,500 are available for small local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations that are working to reduce loneliness and isolation by bringing people and communities together as the country recovers from the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.
The first funding round aims to bring people together in safe and secure ways – including by covering the costs of technologies and equipment that will help people feel more connected within their communities. Funding can also be used to help strengthen organisations and their services through, for example, training and development.
Grants of between £300 and £2,500 are available.
Grants for round one must be spent and projects completed by 31 March 2021.
To be eligible, applicants must have an annual income of £50,000.
There will be two funding rounds, one in January 2021 and one in summer 2021.
Applications for Round 1 open on 5 January 2021 and close on 26 January 2021.
