As part of the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation’s Grenfell Community Development Fund, they are launching Organisation Champions and inviting organisations who played and are continuing to play a key role in empowering and supporting people affected by the Grenfell Tower Fire to nominate themselves and commend others for consideration.
Find the guidelines and expression of interest and commendation form here. If you would like to be considered and/or would like to commend others for support, please return the form to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Friday 23 November.
This is the second strand of a wider response through the Grenfell Community Development Fund which includes:
Green Shoots – If you want to fund one-off projects such as trips, new pieces of equipment, planting of green spaces, please apply for a Green Shoots grant of up to £1,000 and encourage others to apply too.
Community Investment Programmes – Shaping programmes for a brighter future. The Foundation is working with community representatives and organisations to identify long-term projects which will lead to improved lives for people in North Kensington. They are particularly keen to invest in projects which have been explored with the community and encourage participation, partnership and collaboration. If you are planning new initiatives or developing existing ones to empower the Grenfell-affected community which have the potential to deliver real change and impact, especially around areas identified through their Listening Project, then please get in touch.
