Berkeley Foundation Resilience Fund

Deadline:
Sunday, 6 February 2022 - 12:00pm

Grants of up to £30,000 are available to local and grassroots charities to invest in organisational development and build resilience for the future. This year, the fund will be focused on organisations working to help young people into employment.

The Fund aims to support small and grassroots organisations to invest in organisational development and build resilience for the future. In its first year, the fund is looking to identify, support and strengthen organisations whose work enables young people, aged 16-25, to overcome barriers to work and kick-start their careers.

This includes, but is not limited to, organisations that support young people who are long-term unemployed, with caring responsibilities or a lack of qualifications, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, who have disabilities or mental health issues, and/or who are affected by systemic racism, on their journey to employment.

Grants of up to £30,000 over two years are available. The foundation is unable to fund more than 20% of an organisation's total income in any one year.

The deadline for applications is 6 February 2022.

Applicants who would like to receive a decision by Christmas 2021 must submit their application by 31 October 2021 (5pm).
