    The Council’s City Living Local Life fund is open to proposals, which are reviewed on a ward-by-ward basis by the ward’s representative Councillors. Projects must have a social focus, and impact on the local community in some positive way. Proposals are accepted by organisations, groups, and individuals (provided wider local support for the proposal can be evidenced).

    A portion of the Community Infrastructure Levy is to be spent on local priorities; this is called Neighbourhood CIL (NCIL). There is currently about £2.9 million of Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) funds. This is a fund the Council collects from developments and is required to be spent in consultation with local communities.

    Grants of up to £500 are available via the group's local Asda Store's Community Champion to support charitable groups in the UK to provide vulnerable children with nutritious meals during the summer holidays. Funding criteria will be flexible to allow for the most current government guidance on coronavirus/COVID-19 social distancing/lockdown restrictions.
