KCSC's weekly e-bulletin

This week we're highlighting our CEO Peer Network.

The CEO Peer Network brings together Chief Executives and Directors from the local voluntary and community group to do several things. Firstly it is an opportunity to network with other leaders. Leading an organisation can be a lonely task at times and so meeting others that are often grappling with similar issues can be rewarding because together leaders can share with each other in a confidential space as well as learn from each other.

Secondly, it is an opportunity to just down tools. CEOs are always on the go whether at their desk or elsewhere, so the chance to just come away from the daily pressures of work and to socialise has its benefits.

Finally it is a place to discuss topical issues, whether it is about workload stress or making the budget work for the year ahead. Whatever it may be, the CEO Peer Network is a place to share and to learn.

Our last session held in March looked at partnership working. To find out more about that session, click here.

We meet once a quarter, so keep a look out for future meetings in our e-bulletin.

Finally for this week, we want to reiterate our offer for local VCSF organisations around Grenfell support. If you've got views to share, let us know - you can do so in a number of ways. To find out more, visit our engagement page.
