Introduction to Trusteeship

This workshop will give a broad overview of the roles and responsibilities of being a trustee.  It is ideal for new trustees and those wanting a refresher on trusteeship. Existing trustees will also be there to share their experiences and answer questions.

Working with Trustees: Recruitment & Diversity
Friday 12 April, 1.45-4.30pm
This workshop will help you to identify and successfully recruit the right trustees to develop your organisation. You will come away with a clear idea of the type of trustees you need, a draft advert, a list of free places to advertise, and a plan to ensure that new trustees hit the ground running.

 

Quality and transparency has fallen in charity accounts
Find out about the Charity commission’s review of the sets of accounts submitted by charities for the accounting year ending on 31 December 2016. The review has found that transparency and quality has fallen.
