Arts Grants: Application Writing Workshop

A 90 minute workshop to help voluntary, community and arts organisations improve their applications to the upcoming RBKC Arts Grants Programme.


The RBKC Arts Service and Kensington and Chelsea Social Council will be delivering a 90 minute workshop for any organisations interested in applying for the Arts Grants Scheme, offering awards of up to £3,000 for the production of arts, community arts, and arts development projects. Applications are open until midnight on 30 April 2019.

The workshop will cover:

  • The aims and values of the Arts Grants Programme
  • The Arts Grants application, assessment and award process
  • Common errors and ways to improve an application
  • Understanding partnership working and working with artists
  • Monitoring and Evaluation that captures artistic merit AND social impact

The workshop will be aimed at organisations who are new to Arts Grants, or who have limited bid writing experience. Places are completely FREE, however organisations are limited to bringing a maximum of 2 staff/volunteers each.

Cancellations

Attendees who fail to show up without notifying us at least 3 days in advance of the event start time in writing or by email are liable to be charged a cancellation fee of £30.
