Join us in a discussion about the barriers people face to getting involved in local charities, and help us identify ways to overcome them. This event is open to anyone living or working in Kensington and Chelsea.
Kensington and Chelsea Together (K&CT) is a programme launched by KCSC to strengthen local charities by increasing communities' involvement and influence within them.
Working with both residents and organisations, our aim is to support people's access to opportunities in the sector (ex. volunteer, work and trustee opportunities) - ensuring that locals have a say in the design and delivery of programmes and services in the borough.
If you work or live in Kensington and Chelsea, join us in an online focus group discussion where we'll:
- Explore experiences and perceptions of the local charity sector,
- Identify any barriers to accessing opportunities within it, and
- Discuss the type of support the K&CT programme can offer to help overcome those barriers (examples might include: running training sessions, circulating volunteer and job opportunities, etc.)
The session will be hosted on Zoom. Joining details will be sent out the day before.
