Dealing with difficult conversations

This session will be run by the RBKC Human Resources Department.

Are you putting off that difficult conversation as it makes you feel uncomfortable? Do you want to have better conversations on a range of sensitive subjects?Find out how to address a tricky issue or behaviour positively, find resolution and still be able to work collaboratively afterwards? Then this course is for you.

This virtual sessions cover:

  • How to manage your emotions and remain non-judgemental when facing a difficult conversation
  • An introduction to the SCARF model to help improve understanding and find resolution
  • A step by step guide for raising an issue with a colleague or business partner (BIFF)
  • Using assertive and positive language

This session will be on Zoom. Joining details will be sent out the day before the event, to all those registered

This training is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public. Places are limited to 2 people per organisation.

Cancellations

Attendees who fail to show up without notifying us at least 3 days in advance of the event start time in writing or by email are liable to be charged a cancellation fee of £30.
