Management of Absence and Flexible Working

Training postponed

In the light of the developing situation in relation to Covid-19, and the local and national response to it, KCSC has taken the difficult decision to postpone Management of Absence and Flexible Working which we were due to provide on Tuesday 24 March 2020 at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX until further notice, with apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause you.

We will continue to follow the advice provided by Public Health England and the U.K. Government, and when it has been deemed safe to do so, we anticipate that KCSC would like to arrange to still provide this training at a later date.

Section 1: Management of absence

This session is designed to support managers in the effective and proactive management of sickness absence in the workplace. It will be run by the RBKC HR department.

Section 2: Flexible working

This session will explore and discuss how flexible working arrangements (including what these are and how this can be managed effectively) - can be a tool both for the recruitment and retention of staff and the promotion of a positive work-life balance. This will be run by the RBKC HR department.

The event is completely free for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations working with residents living in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Please note that RBKC will not allow entry to any attendee arriving more than 10 minutes late for the session, so please make sure you arrive on time!
