Employment Law for Employers: How to Avoid the Pitfalls

Do you know what legal obligations you have to your employees? Are you worried about Employment Tribunal claims?

The North Kensington Law Centre is offering bespoke interactive training workshops for employers wanting to improve their employment practices.

Timetable

Workshops are interactive sessions with small groups (10-15 people) and can be scheduled to fit in with busy diaries either during the day or early evening. Three hours gives a basic introduction to employment law, with extended sessions covering specific areas. We will be running them regularly in 2012.

    • Compulsory redundancy selection
    • Consultation process
    • Employee’s rights
    • Potential problems following redundancy
  • Changes to Employee Contracts of Employment
    • Checking the contract
    • Consultation process
    • Failure to agree

We offer both an introductory workshop as well as more specialised sessions focussing on issue-spotting and problem-solving. Let us know what topics are of most interest to you and your preference for a daytime or early evening session and we will build the workshop around you.
