Kensington and Chelsea Partnership
The Kensington and Chelsea Partnership (KCP) was set up in 2002 to bring together local public organisations such as the Council, the Police and Primary Care Trust, to work alongside the voluntary sector, business and community groups. The KCP provides leadership, and has responsibility for the Community Strategy and Local Area Agreement.
The Community Strategy
A new updated Community Strategy for Kensington and Chelsea was published in 2008 to update the original published in 2005.
'The Future of Our Community, Community Strategy 2008 – 2018' is a collaborative effort on behalf of the Council, the Police, the Fire Service, NHS Kensington and Chelsea, voluntary organisations and the local business community.
It contains updated ambitions, aims and objectives and highlights new projects and policy developments that have emerged since 2005, underpinned by extensive public consultation.
The strategy is accompanied by ‘A Picture of Our Community – Facts and Figures about the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea 2008’
