We work to support locally focused voluntary and community organisations serving local residents in Kensington and Chelsea. In some instances, however, you may need more specialist advice or support that we cannot offer.
If you contact us we will do our best to help you or try to put you in touch with someone who can.
The following list of organisations all provide some degree of support to the voluntary and community sector in specific areas.
CASH Community Accountants
CASH provide basic financial skills needed to run successful charities and voluntary organisations through one-to-one casework, training courses and publications.
Volunteer Centre Kensington & Chelsea
Provide guidance, including courses, for organisations in good practice in managing and supporting their volunteers and promote positive volunteer management through conferences, training and forums.
Westway Development Trust
Westway’s Communities team can help you to find the resources you need. They offer support, advice and subsidised office space.
Migrant & Refugee Communities Forum
A user-led, community forum working to promote the rights of migrants and refugees in London. They provide advice and support to individuals and community organisations.
Action Disability Kensington & Chelsea
ADKC offer information and advice on disability related issues to anyone who lives or works in Kensington & Chelsea, whether they are disabled people, carers, professionals etc.
RBKC Community Engagement Team
The council’s Community Engagement Team can help local residents who want to get more involved in their neighbourhoods and they offer a grant scheme for voluntary and community organisations.
PEACe: Personnel, Employment Advice & Conciliation Service
Expert and up-to-date advice and guidance on all employment related issues to London's voluntary sector employers. Please note that this is a support service for EMPLOYERS, not employees. NEED TO CHECK THIS STILL CURRENT IN APRIL

Offer a helpline to answer questions related to charity registration, charity law and compliance with charity commission directives, governance and more.

LawWorks for Community Groups
This project provides free legal advice to small charities, not for profit, voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises using volunteer lawyers.
LVSC - list of brokering services
London Voluntary Sector Council (LVSC) has compiled a useful list of brokering services. Brokers help organisations by matching them with a professional or skilled worker who is offering their time for free. The skills on offer can range from IT to marketing, design, finance and legal advice.
