Inner North West London Primary Care Trusts
- NHS Kensington & Chelsea is now operating in partnership with the NHS commissioning organisations in Westminster and Hammersmith & Fulham in order to make financial savings.
- The same people are now running the three organisations and services are being planned across the three boroughs. This is an interim measure (see 'West London Clinical Commissioning Group' below).
Public health
- The public health department is currently part of Inner North-West London Primary Care Trusts, but will be transferred to the local council in 2012.

West London Clinical Commissioning Group
- Local GPs and other clinicans have formed a consortium which will eventually take over the role of the primary care trusts.
- The consortium covers all GPs in K&C plus Queen’s Park and Paddington.
- This consortium has won ‘pathfinder’ status from the Department of Health, which means that it will be testing the new commissioning process before the system is extended across all of England.
