K&C Compact Implementation Group in line for award

Kensington and Chelsea's Compact Implementation Group which consists of members from both the voluntary and community sector and the statutory sector has been nominated for the Local Compact Award.  The award is for a person or group which demonstrates the positive impact of partnership working in the local community.

Kensington and Chelsea was one of the first areas in the country to develop a local Compact and ownership of the Compact across the sectors is demonstrated through the Compact Implementation Group.

The revised Compact for Kensington and Chelsea was launched in May this year and a network of Compact Champions is being developed.
