The Social Council is running a project to support local organisations with governance matters. The project is called Get on Board Kensington and Chelsea and it is run in partnership with Volunteer Centre Kensington and Chelsea. It offers:
Our project can help you recruit the right trustees to help steer your organisation into the future. We run regular trustee recruitment events where you can come along and meet with potential new trustees.
We can also assist you to prepare for trustee recruitment and induction and we run training for all new recruits to help ensure they fully understand their new roles and responsibilities as trustees.
Whatever your in-house training and facilitation needs are, contact us for a chat and we will see how we can help you.
We support trustees by providing seminars and a yearly trustee conference. These are a chance for trustees to meet, network, learn about and discuss issues to do with governance. Topics at previous seminars included employment good practice, managing your charities money, collaboration and dealing with change. We also provide email updates with useful information.
We provide regularly updated information and resources on our trustees and governance page.
If you would like to discuss how the Get on Board project can help your organisation please contact Siobhan on 020 7243 9807 or siobhan@kcsc.org.uk
