RBKC Families and Children's Services commissioning evaluation
In 2008 the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Family and Children’s Services changed the way in which they fund services provided by the voluntary sector by moving to a commissioning process. Previously, organisations were awarded grants which were based on historical funding arrangements.
Kensington and Chelsea Social Council were asked to work with Family and Children’s Services to evaluate the commissioning process and did this using a process which included surveys and focus groups.
These findings were published in February 2009.
