Co-producing means "the public sector and citizens making better use of each other's assets and resources to achieve better outcomes and improved efficiency" (Governance International).
But what does co-production actually mean for services, residents and for the voluntary and community sector?
Tony Bovaird, from Third Sector Research Centre and Professor of Public Management and Policy from the University of Birmingham will share his in-depth knowledge and experience of how to co-produce the future.
Leading on the debate on what it means to truly place residents at the heart of the design of services that meet their needs and the role of the voluntary and community sector within this.
